Every quarter, The Disabled Feminist offers a free round up of new media releases - be it books, films, events - at the intersection of disability and fourth wave feminism. With the incoming summer, now is the time for rest and renewal. This very list started on London Bridge, a start to this season, soundtracked by Britney Spears. I love to see what everyone else has been creating - I live to see the art.
The idea behind compiling these lists was to distribute information further - maybe in the hope of reach people who wouldn’t necessarily have the access to such information. It’s a service of sorts! The Arts is not known for being great when it comes to accessibility, after all.
(You can see the previous lists from this year here:)

Out Now
Books & Disability Media
Table For One by Emma Gannon is on my list of books to read this year; she wrote a love letter to solitude and art dates. A follow up to Olive, this is a new novel deemed perfect for a holiday or time away. The novel is also out soon in the US. Get your copy here.
Who Wants Normal? by Frances Ryan is out now. Stay tuned for the new issue of Disability Review Magazine for an exclusive interview; it’s a cracking read. Purchase a copy here.
The Book Of Alchemy is at the top of my list of books I want to read. Journaling is a practice I espouse and have kept to for years - and this is full of prompts, essays, by a range of writers. Knowing your own thoughts is essential. Buy it here.
Outrage by Ellen Jones is coming to the US. Buy the book here.
