With Love, Grief & Fury landed in my inbox in January; it was a time of transition, the world seemed grey at the periphery, and I wasn’t sure about where I was going in this world. I absolutely adore Salena Godden’s work - Mrs Death Misses Death is a favourite novel of mine - and this was no exception.
There’s a sense of hope and renewal that’s needed sometimes; across the globe it’s an election year, and the word crucial has never been used so much. And I want more of that, in all media forms. Because we are allowed love, grief and fury - incandescent in the multiple facets that make us us.
